I hate painting ceilings. My neck gets stiff, my arm muscles cramp, and my eyes cross before I've even pried the top from the can. Opened, things just go downhill, and down my arms, up my nose and into my hair. And, no matter how careful I am, I always synchronize stepping into a glob of paint with stepping off the drop cloth. Professional painters have told me I'm too impatient; if I took my time, I could enjoy mastering this skill. Unless someone invents a chocolate flavored paint that can be applied with my tongue, I truly doubt it.
